Which gaming console should you buy?
Which console to buy has becoming increasingly more complex? It's now not simply a case of picking the one with the top games or the next generation console/upgrade of the one you already have. The main consoles to choose from are the PSP3, Wii and the Xbox 360.
If you read my Wii review it describes this console as the most ground breaking when it was first released changing the course of gaming for years to come and spawned the newer controllers from its competitors. Since this original review Nintedo have improved its original Wii Remote, with the MotionPlus for an improved/increased accuracy. The Wii is great value if the type of games and controller appeal to you, a very good alternative to the other power-strong consoles.
If high grade graphics is what you're after, you should be looking at the Xbox 360 or the PS3. The PS3 specification boasts the best console graphically and is free to play online. The unit also doubles as a Blu-ray player and the PlayStation Move controller gives a wireless experience similar, if not better than the Wii MotionPlus.
The Xbox 360, on the other hand have a system called Xbox Live for online use, which does unfortunately come at a cost financially (but it is very reputable). The most interesting feature is its newest form of its controller, which is something a little different called 'Kinect', a controller less system that allows the users' body movements and speech to directly interact with games, like spinning a roulette wheel in a casino. A highly ambitious project leaving us in intense anticipation of its final results.
An in depth comparison can be seen in my console comparison review.

Nintendo DSi XL
Last year, Nintendo released the third iteration of the DSi, DS handheld game console. This model has two low-resolution camera, along with large screens and slimmer and stronger construction than DS Lite.In October 2009 news came other updates-DSi XL, large-capacity version of DSi with even larger screens, it is available now for about £ 150.
If you own or have the DSI, the first thing you notice about DSi XL is its weight. On about 315 g DSi XL heavier DSi and DS Lite, both weighed approximately. 213 g., DSi XL has some attractive reliability, which probably means that it can take more blows than its predecessors.
While DSi was covered by opaque outer layer, DSi XL sporting shiny top, along with a more textured plastic lining, giving it a relatively complex appearance. go dragging its feet not during our testing, it seems, however, that brilliant top can be susceptible to scratches. It is also a fingerprint magnet.Dark Burgundy color our review unit helps hide blemishes but. DSi XL is also available in Brown and white.
Size: 160 x 20 of 91 mm, DSi XL does look like tiny DSi. her double 107 mm (4.2) screens are a whopping 93 percent more than those found on the DS Lite and about an inch larger than the screens on the DSi. Three led lights on the left hinge on DSi XL have symbols for power charging status and activity of Wi-Fi.
The two screens on the DSi XL is 93% more than those on the DS Lite
Nintendo did a great job of wide angles DSi XL two screens and, although it is difficult to discern the difference compared to the screens of DSi, this improvement is very obvious from the DS Lite displays. it makes it easier to watch people play when you're sitting next to them or look at their shoulders.
Each button in the system has the same shape, feel and layout as the DSi, save for a little more l and r shoulder buttons and power switch.Compared with those on the DS Lite, X, a, b, and Y buttons are not so deeply, so they require less pressing.Similarly, the l and r buttons back--they now much elasticity and requires less effort.Even select and Start received a similar treatment-and we found it particularly difficult to insist on the DS Lite. transition using the d-pad, we experienced the same sort of click posting. DS Lite d pad was slightly weaker.
We really want the DSI XL has improved on the original 0.3 megapixel cameras, because even though the screens were expanded, 256 x 192 pixels resolution this means photographs often blurry and not enough detail.
Included stylus mounted in the rear seat with DSi, just bump the 4 mm in length, we really liked-shaped grip pen is also included and found myself using it on our old models DS Stylus too while is a great complement to the thick, it cannot be stored in the unit itself and must be separately are also included Charger AC, which works with the original DSi as well.
