Which gaming console should you buy?

Which console to buy has becoming increasingly more complex? It's now not simply a case of picking the one with the top games or the next generation console/upgrade of the one you already have. The main consoles to choose from are the PSP3, Wii and the Xbox 360.

If you read my Wii review it describes this console as the most ground breaking when it was first released changing the course of gaming for years to come and spawned the newer controllers from its competitors. Since this original review Nintedo have improved its original Wii Remote, with the MotionPlus for an improved/increased accuracy. The Wii is great value if the type of games and controller appeal to you, a very good alternative to the other power-strong consoles.

If high grade graphics is what you're after, you should be looking at the Xbox 360 or the PS3. The PS3 specification boasts the best console graphically and is free to play online. The unit also doubles as a Blu-ray player and the PlayStation Move controller gives a wireless experience similar, if not better than the Wii MotionPlus.

The Xbox 360, on the other hand have a system called Xbox Live for online use, which does unfortunately come at a cost financially (but it is very reputable). The most interesting feature is its newest form of its controller, which is something a little different called 'Kinect', a controller less system that allows the users' body movements and speech to directly interact with games, like spinning a roulette wheel in a casino. A highly ambitious project leaving us in intense anticipation of its final results.

An in depth comparison can be seen in my console comparison review.

Sony PSP Go browsing

Sony's new PSP Go has a smaller form factor than its predecessors and about 43 percent lighter than 3000. Go portable platform Sony adds Bluetooth capabilities for the first time, and you can also wire it into a Bluetooth enabled phone, potentially enables Web-browsing and online gaming, PSP Go through 3GThe does not offer any game-changing updates such as touchscreen or second analog stick. On-screen 97 mm less than 107 mm screen previous models. There is also no UMD disc, which means there is no way to play the PSP software, you can independently. Moving is expensive

Go PSP may have been the worst kept secret of this year's show, but Sony's E3 press conference with the official details. Move less than PSP 3000 has screen slide up and has no UMD drive (universal media disc). And not just any game-changing updates such as touchscreen or second analog stick shift will be available in the UK on October 2, £ 250--shocking price hike on the United States $ 250 (£ 150).

Here's a roundup of go to the features and specifications, as we understand them so far.

Form factor
Navigation screen (3.8) 97 mm, compared with 109 mm on all previous models of the PSP it said at 43% lighter than 3000, which means it will weigh in at about 110, go to the design is very similar to what Sony mylo, screen, sliding up open controls.

D-pad buttons and now are located directly under the screen instead of on either side of it

Storage
Move will offer 16 GB of internal flash memory, expandable with Memory Stick Micro slot (M2).UMD drive to Go there.Although it certainly enables smaller size (and hopefully better battery life), it also means there is no way to play the PSP software, you can independently.

Controls
Although the layout may be different, the control scheme to Go a little different from the earlier models of PSP: four-way d-pad left, standard Quartet geometrically coded Sony controls (circle, square, cross and triangle), click the Start button/in the middle and PlayStation Home button to the left of the screen.

With sliding down hidden controls

The second element of the analog control so always at or near the top of the wish lists for PSP redesigns, her lack of disappointing at the same time, sticking with the same schema management tool, ensures compatibility between travel games and over PSPs. it remains to be seen whether the single stick hosting--closer to the Center control deck, rather than outside the law, where he sits on the earlier PSPs--would be problematic for experienced gamers, PSP on the foregoing, layout controls, go to more closely align compared to conventional full-size PlayStation controller.

Wireless communication
Along with support for Wi-Fi switch adds Bluetooth capabilities Sony handheld platforms for the first time, this should allow the standard Bluetooth headset (and presumably A2DP headphones and speakers) to pair with go.
